Building Conditions: cracking and movement in foundation; leaks in roof; ceiling tiles have water damage; clogged waste lines; poor air circulation; inadequate fire and safety systems; exterior walls need repair and paint; torn and stained carpet; poor lighting.

Site Conditions: cracks and poor drainage in parking lot; no curb or gutters on sections of the parking lot and driveway; crumbling sidewalks; the track consists of a dirt path around the football field; athletic fields in poor condition – no irrigation and poor drainage; water waste system constantly backs-up; half of the fence is barbwire – the other half is in poor condition.

Educational Suitability: no designated parent drop-off/pick-up area; students often walk between buses to travel between parents vehicle and the school – unsafe pedestrian route; football and track field facilities are poorly developed; no tennis courts; school boundaries have inadequate fencing; school identity signage is absent; primary building (including kindergarten) is not located adjacent to any of the core spaces (media center, computer lab, cafeteria, gym, and main office); special education classrooms are minimal in size for some activities; a portion of the gym is used as a cafeteria – limiting its use; the gym has carpet in some spots rather than wood flooring; the gym has an insufficient number of courts for boys/girls sports; wrestling gym was previously a bay for bus maintenance - not in the main building; only one music space for grades 4-12; music and art rooms are located outside of the main building; voids at the top of the walls between the art and shop rooms, resulting in noise and dust/smoke coming into the art room; no performance facility/auditorium; poor lighting in various classrooms; preschool is in a separate building, isolated from the support facilities in the main building; inadequately sized and isolated kindergarten space; restrooms do not have urinal privacy partitions; one teacher lounge for the entire school; inadequate freezer, cooler and dry food storage; a nurse is only at the school 1 day a week.
