Educational Suitability: needs additional off street parking
in front of building; the corner gate entrances are not gated
and cannot be locked – resulting in vandalism; the library
is no strategically located; classrooms need more storage;
Special Education spaces are housed in portables; a wooden
folding door serves as a wall between a reading room and the
gym; classroom(s) size are below guidelines; minimal space
for technology (specifically, computers); administration area
needs more space; clinic needs to be updated.
Technology Readiness: electrical capacity cannot support five
computers in each classroom; no cable in the building.

Site Conditions: significant cracking in parking lots; rusty
backboards on playground; leak in water line.
Educational Suitability: separation of car and bus traffic
needs to be more distinct; additional fencing between campus
and playing field; limited storage in classrooms; library is
not centrally located; choir and band rooms are inadequate
in size; science rooms are smaller than the guidelines and
need more cabinets and bookshelves; administration needs additional
storage space.
Technology Readiness: classrooms lack adequate electrical
outlets to support a minimum of five computers; some rooms
use one or more power strips to accommodate computers; telephone
system if out of date and doesn’t always work in all
rooms; no cable TV in classrooms.

have frost damage; lawns need to be reseeded.
Educational Suitability: bus and car drop-off/pick-up traffic
needs to be separated; sport fields located across the street;
site is not fully fenced, resulting in vandalism; classrooms
are inadequate in size; some classrooms are in portables; the
library is a shared facility with the public library; limited
storage space in classrooms; classrooms are not fully equipped;
physical education department lacks office and storage space – often
causing a fire hazard; choir and band spaces do not meet adequate
size guidelines and have limited storage; science classrooms/labs
are undersized; teacher lounge and workroom is too small; administration
offices are small and have minimal storage space.
Technology Readiness: computer labs have heat problems – poor
ventilation; no cable in building.
